Agentic trading is when an AI agent does not just follow fixed rules but decides on its own what to trade and how, sometimes changing its approach as it goes. Unlike plain automation, the agent has room to adapt its behavior. That flexibility introduces real danger, because a system that can rewrite its own approach can drift far from anything you tested.
