Breach
A breach is the moment a trader violates one of the firm's hard rules, such as exceeding the drawdown floor or the daily loss limit. When a breach happens, the account is usually failed or closed, ending that evaluation or funded stage. Some breaches are soft and only lock the account for the day, while others end the attempt entirely.
