Order Book
The order book is the live list of resting buy and sell limit orders for an asset, organized by price. Bids sit on one side and asks on the other, showing how much size waits to trade at each level. As orders fill, cancel, or arrive, the book updates continuously, which is part of what order flow analysis studies.
