A portfolio is the full collection of investments you own, such as your stocks, ETFs, funds, and cash, viewed together as a whole. Looking at a portfolio rather than a single holding shows your true overall risk and how diversified you are. People often describe a portfolio by its mix, such as how much sits in stocks versus bonds.
